Turtle Nesting TourTortugas in JalovaTortuguero is one of the main hotspots for turtle nesting in the Caribbean. This tour will take you to see the marvelous miracle that is turtle nesting.
• From early July to October: Green sea turtles, hawksbill and loggerhead sea turtles. • From February to April: Leatherback sea turtle. The tour is approximately two hours long.
Tour prices may change depending on the number of people in the tour and other factors, but we can give you a ballpark figure of $45

Private tour that will give you exclusive rights to the wonderful miracle that is turtle nesting in the beach areas of Jalova.
In this tour, you will be taken to the Jalova Ranger’s Station - one hour away from the central town of Tortuguero - via boat ride at about 5 pm. During this section of the tour, you will be able to see how diurnal species return to their resting places while the nocturnal creatures of this region come out.
Once in the field at the ranger’s station, you will be able to enjoy a delicious snack and supper before traveling off to the delta of Jalova lagoon, where the sea turtle search begins!
